Yin Kun was born in 1969 in Beijing, soon learns the social climate that surrounds him and after attending art studies he becomes a point of reference in the world overview of Chinese art. His works deal with irony and sympathy (thanks to these fuchsia budda) the hottest topics of socio-communist politics. Fun always leaves room for tragedy and for a face of a country that is drastically changing its being.
His works are in the largest collections in the world, he is dealt with by the largest auction houses and in 2006 he reached the auction record of $ 81,418 at Sotheby's Hong Kong.
